Vinyl Voyeur: Sunn O))) / ” ØØ Void Reissue”
Here is one of the heaviest albums by one of the heaviest bands around. ØØ Void is the sonic equivalent of tectonic plates colliding. This is a recent reissue I got sometime after Christmas and has some really nice artwork.. Since each track spans over 14 minutes so each side has it’s own song and art. Here is a look at the old cover and a listen for those uninitiated.
Side A: Richard
Side B: NN O)))
Side C: Rabbit’s Revenge (Melvins Cover)
Side D: Ra at Dusk
Exploring a Fallen Forest
In one of the many cancelled construction projects around Charlotte, I found a site where the foundation was never laid and the trees were still piled up where they fell. I’ll probably go back and explore some more because it is a huge piece of land.
Vinyl Voyeur: Thou / “The Archer & the Owle”
Today I decided I’m going to document my record collection since a few of the photos I’ve posted on tumblr were popular. My girlfriend got me this awesome EP by Thou for V-day so it will be the my first feature. Thou always has great designs. Listen to the whole EP here.

Late Bloomer, Old Flings, NÖ PÖWER and One Another @ Snug Harbor
I shot Late Bloomer, Old Flings, NÖ PÖWER and One Another @ Snug Harbor 2-10-12. The photos and my write up will be published on Shutter 16 sometime in the next day or so. Here are a few of my favorites along with the awesome poster. Unfortunately I don’t know who the artist is.
First Post: Picking Up Momentum
Recently I’ve been picking up some momentum, I’m now interning at Shutter 16 and had a few articles published on CVLTNATION. So, I’ve decided to get a serious blog. I’m going to keep it up to date with whatever I’ve been shooting or writing. My flickr has all of my past work, so don’t hesitate to check it out. For this first post I’m just going to share a photo I took this past weekend. During the summer I found a dead turtle and remembered the location so that I could come back. There wasn’t much left this time but I did manage to find the skull, which I think made for a very interesting subject.
